The hotel is set in a forest area, with many walking paths starting next to the hotel. It features a beautiful spa, with outside swimming pool, a relax e area , a fitness room, a sun terrace with sun beds, and a colourful garden. The room was perfect, had comfortable beds, nice wood furniture, real wood on the floor and a little balcony. Breakfast was excellent.

I don't even know how to start expressing the enthusiasm after staying in this place. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. In real life, the place is much more beautiful than the pictures. The property is so beautifully designed and arranged and it's a mixture of very modern design with traditional/keeping it's origins. Beautiful! Spotless clean! There is also a common area on the ground floor, to hang out, and a fully equipped kitchen (with a big fridge). There is also a coffee machine and tea maker. In the area there aren't many options for grocery shopping, as the place is rather remote, so, make sure you come prepared in case you do not want to eat out. There are restaurants opened in the village center, in case the restaurant from the hotel is not opened. Oh, and the other shops in the village and around usually open around 10:00 (la boulagerie though, was opened around 06:00 or 07:00 - I cannot remember exactly as I was blinded by the tastiness of those amazing gorgeous products that I purchased from them, hehehehe). The breakfast was soooooo delicious. And the croissants....divine! There was also a huge range of local honey and local jams (all absolutely amazing). The bread was perfection as well. Another thing that I found amazing was the how the owner would switch from speaking French, to speaking English, to speaking German! There are plenty of things to do in and around this little gem of a village, so I would definitely return for a longer stay, to also go hiking around the area.

A beautiful village which can be walked around in a couple of hours. An ideal starting point for local walks in the woods or day excursions to the northern Vosges. If you like jazz and can be there for the August festival ("Au Gré du Jazz"), you will be in heaven!

A small town, quite typical of the region. Great for walking or a base for onward travel. it's perfect for motorcycle tours as it's 600 miles from UK. Biketoursits will understand the maths? |Stayed twice this year in different hotels. location is perfect for onward travel. to the Alps

A lovely, characteristic hotel with comfortable rooms and beautiful views. The menu choice and food standard in the restaurant is excellent. The breakfast was above standard. The staff were very friendly but professional and the owner was extremely accommodating. Thank you for such a lovely stay and we hope to see you again soon.

The Vosges is a fascinating region and the hotel and its surroundings lived up to that. Lovely woodland walks for the dogs, delicious dinner. Room a bit small and dated but excellent shower which made up for it! And a nice little balcony
