United StatesEverything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. If I could give it higher that a "10," I gladly would. We biked the entire island, so I saw all the other hotel options. L'Ocean stands out. The location is superb - right on the ocean with breath-taking views from the room (including sunsets!). The staff is exceptional. To a person they were warm, accomodating, professional and yet fun and personable. In messaging prior to arrival, staff members were very helpful, even making dinner reservations at restaurants other than their own. We dined at the in-hotel restaurant, Le Bistrot, one night and it was delicious, and right on the water with another awesome view. Our room was lovely - large and bright with a very comfortable bed and fabulous blackout shutters for sleep. And, can I mention the view again??!! Breakfast on the balcony was delightful and so plentiful - fresh juice and fruit, baguettes and pain au chocolat, jellies and the butter..!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The bathroom facilities were excellent.
Croisic is a lovely town, and deserves the accolade
of being one of Frances Special Small Cities.

The harbour front is very busy especially at weekends,...
The harbour front is very busy especially at weekends, however Place de Dinan near the post office and supermarket (very cheap) was nice and peaceful, and only a short walk away from the hotel.
The creperie Le Petit Caveau, in Place de Dinan had good food and very
welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make our meal great.
The Cote Sauvage on the opposite side of the peninsula has an entirely different feel and nice little beaches.
Hotel de L'Ocean in Port Lin is very nice and beautifuly located at the end of Rue de Kervenel which is right next to the creperie, but quite a walk.

Le Croisic is fantastic for sea views, characterful Southern Brittany coastal walks, lots of restaurants and bars overlooking harbours and boats and just relaxing in fresh, sea air. It feels relaxed and safe and everything you need is within easy reach from beaches to supermarkets. The locals seem kind and helpful and it doesn't feel pretentious like some other coastal towns.

Excellent room in central location just behind harbour front at Le Croisic.
Although this is a busy port with tourists ++ we did not experience any problems with noise.
Comfortable bed, excellent shower, staff respond quickly. Breakfast available on request. Crêperies and Boulanger close by.
Car access is tricky to drop luggage with one-way streets and limited access (outside proprietor control!), but Le Croisic offers free car parking and there is a car park close by to the south.

Incredible location - close to all the best bits in Le Croisic. Lovely, airy and clean apartment - perfect for a long weekend away. Helpful host. Would definitely book again!
