RussiaThe hosts were friendly and the location was nice with good views, in the night you have a great view of the starry sky. There were also two friendly and adorable dogs and a cat on the property. The bed was cosy and the towels huge and soft, there were also provided good toiletries.

The room was advertised with terrace.
The room was advertised with terrace. There was a terrace, shared with other rooms and separate from out room. Solid wood floors feature in the description. They are made of wood, but are laminate and noisy to walk on. Breakfasts were good, but the evening meal was not emjoyable.

Le Hohwald is a wonderful place to be for a "time out" and...
Le Hohwald is a wonderful place to be for a "time out" and to enjoy a fantastic nature and beautiful villages like "Andlau" or waterfalls, the mount St. Odile and others. I wish I could live there! Very friendly people in Le Hohwald.

The check-in staff spoke English. The room was small but clean and decent, with a compact yet fully functional bathroom. To my surprise, both the bathroom’s electric heater and the room’s central heating worked, making the stay comfortable once we figured that out. Parking is available next to the hotel in a designated area. The location is set back from the main street. The first-floor public terrace was a pleasant bonus for enjoying an evening bottle of wine. Dinner and breakfast seemed overpriced, so we skipped them.

We stayed there for an affordable option away from Christmas markers madness (and expensiveness), and we were happy about our choice. Fits only for those who comes by car. A lovely family- run hotel in the mountains between Colmar and Strausbourg that has it all. Room was cozy and the breakfast- delishious

Beautiful hotel in a very pretty village. Room was great - loads of room as split level and very quiet as it faces fields. Breakfast very good and the restaurant was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful

The breakfast was exceptional, fresh fruit, meats, and cheeses, breads ect, all very fresh. The location of the hotel was excellent with beautiful Forested area around and stunning buildings to visit.
