When we arrived at the property and opened the car doors we were met by the most amazing, sweet herbal smell of wild marjoram--and then by the property owner, all smiles, who showed us our apartment and answered all of our questions. The apartment lacked nothing--from every kitchen supply you could require to dishwasher, washing machine, towels, linens. And though an easy walk or short drive to the busy town of LES VANS, le petit domaine is a world away, sitting high up and beautifully silent day and night. There are many trails all around, too. The yard has a variety of lounge chairs, large umbrella and table. We so loved it we asked to stay another night and still were sad to leave. Oh, and the breakfast--served at whatever time you like--is a perfect start to the day. The owners are delightful and kind.
