My room was huge with period furniture and decorations set the the tower portion of the manor. Its set back from the road surrounded by vines and fields making the whole experience one of going back in time. The breakfast room was a spacious salon of the manor too. Our host spoke excellent english. Go while you can, my feeling was that the current staff of three was rather overworked and the property may be being sold

The staff are very welcoming. The food at the restaurant is a traditional french menu, delicious and with some creative additions. The rooms are light and spacious with a very comfortable bed.

It was exceptionally beautiful and with a massive garden. The owner is Chinese and has built a Chinese pagoda and Koi Pond to add to the French style ‘manoir’. The big pool overlooks the river. The house is pretty old, but it really has its charm. We went outside of the touristic season so we had the whole castle to ourselves.
