Big guest house with view of countryside and private parking. Split bathroom/water closet. Modern. Big kitchen. Very quiet, located down a dead-end lane. Perfect for visiting southern Champagne - very close to many wineries and one of the best restaurants in the region, "La Garde Champetre".

Superb hotel with free outside parking, very comfortable and quiet rooms, excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. Very attentive staff. All this at a very reasonable price, so it would be hard not to be pleased. I visited Les Tonnelles restaurant twice in the past 4 years, but this was my first stay at the hotel. Their local "andouillettes" are, to my taste, the best I've ever had, and I'm an "andouillette" fan.

The house was spotlessly clean and modern with very cheerful and tasteful decorations. It was exceedingly well equipped. In fact, anything you could possibly want was provided. Bread, butter, jam and milk were provided for breakfast, and there was a bottle of champagne, cider and fruit juice in the fridge. Who could ask for more from a rental property? Cynthia met us on arrival and showed us around. She was very charming and generous, and clearly wanted her guests to have as happy a time as possible in the house she had inherited from her beloved grandmother. There was a small garden at the back where we were able to sit out in the evening sun in April. The property is located in Les Riceys where there are many opportunities for the tasting of locally produced champagne by the many small producers located there.

Prefect for a family and a dog with a large garden which was secure for the dog. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a 4 day stop over trip. The lakes were about 30-40 minutes drive. Very quiet area.
