The room was Beautiful and large and had the necessary amenities.The hostess was the friendliest person. She provided lots of great suggestions for places to visit and a great restaurant recommendation. The continental breakfast was nice. Parking inside the garden was free and available.

Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous! loved staying at The Gatekeepers Cottage, everything was perfect. The main house where we ate was wonderful, as was the dinner and breakfast. Adrian and Jill are perfect hosts and made us Soo welcome. They have worked so hard to make this place stunning and continue to do so. We looked around the Enchanted Cottage and that was fabulous too. 😂 We hope to come back again. 😁

Quite a special place.

Quite a special place. The little river La Dive at the bottom of the garden was delightful and I took my morning tea there while my dog had a paddle. If you appreciate nature and want a peaceful break in a beautiful part of France, go to L’Octroy! You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful countryside situation , the owners are extremely welcoming and friendly ,facilities outstanding , with many extra amenities - books ,games ,DVDs ,sun chairs and cycles . We will definitely return..

Very traditional French rural hotel, even down to the push-timer light switches in the corridors. Comfortable and spacious room, bed quite firm and comfortable. Table D'Hote dinner was excellent on two occasions I stayed there. Very rural village location, in the village centre, don't know about the local area as I was travelling through. I will stay there again if I can.

The host was very helpful and accommodating. Offered to let me park my motorcycle in the garage. Food was delicious, especially as I booked late and last minute. Hadn’t planned to stay in Oiron but after long day on the road was a great find.
