It was a very special place to stay. Genevieve was an exceptional host and has done an incredible job with every detail of the house. She made sure we had everything we needed and was always kind about checking in with us. Her breakfast was a highlight, with freshly baked croissants that could be smelled throughout. The location is great, with some great nearby restaurants and a brasserie. We felt very lucky to pick this location while we visited the area for a wedding and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway. We will miss Genevieve!

Penne-d’Agenais is such a lovely place to stay .

Penne-d’Agenais is such a lovely place to stay . The village is so well kept- you can see that business owners and local residents work hard to keep Penne in such pristine condition. There are many cultural events to suit all tastes and a lively artistic scene. The Basilica provides a quiet serene place to gather your thoughts. The restaurants/ cafes offer a variety of beautifully cooked food, including vegetarian options. This is a historical gem of a place.

A truly exceptional place, a diamond in the south of France.

A truly exceptional place, a diamond in the south of France. Elegant, stylish, calm, indulgent. Genevieve is serene and wonderfully generous, her love and creativity fills every pore of this most memorable of places to stay. The village is a gem, immaculately kept and cared for by the myriad creatives that have made it their home. Set on the top of a hill where you can wander up to watch the sun setting on the lot valley.

Wow wow wow!! What a find! Liked · Just WOW!! What a fabulous place. The interior design and architecture is just stunning. We had a huge room, with absolutely impeccable decor and cleanliness. Genevieve the host was absolutely wonderful. So welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. She helped book us a restaurant on both nights (Bombacul, just around the corner and delicious!) and served the most outstanding breakfast in the morning. It was a work of art and utterly delicious! The hotel is also in a beautiful village perche with the most stunning basilica on top of it. So thrilled to have found both the village and the hotel. Thank you for such a fabulous few days. Disliked · I am only sad that we had to leave!
