This is a great place if you are doing something in Puyoo or Pau or nearby. There are decent roads for bicycling and the countryside is attractive. It is about 300m from the Puyoo train station, so I did not need to rent a car. The host rented me a bicycle for a reasonable price. The kitchen was nicely equipped. One could have even baked something. There is a supermarket within walking distance. The hostess was friendly and welcoming.

The hotel is a gorgeous building and in its day must have just been a stunner. They are trying to maintain the former grandeur and charm. Breakfasts were good. We enjoyed our time there.

The whole experience was wonderful. The set up is rather interesting in that there are two B&B double rooms with their modern en suite bathroom set up on either side of a shared common room, which is used for breakfast. Each rooms gives onto its own individual patio. My sister and brother-in-law had rented the studio which is, conversely, completely self contained. There is a sense of privacy and the location is unbelievable quiet. Salies de Bearn is a bucolic little town and the location of the B&B is close to the center but even quieter. All fixtures were modern.

We were completely delighted and blown away by our stay at Domaine Labourome. The house was stunning, the location ideal (you could walk into town), the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the attention to details was superb. Aline was an exceptional host, breakfast was phenomenal (so were the views), and we look forward to returning for another visit.
