The beautiful room and restaurant, food and service!

The family room was excellent it combined 2 separate bedrooms with 2 separate toilets and it was very comfortable and roomy. The honor was absolutely charming and help us with everything we’ve asked.

It is a cool quiet oasis in a lively little town. It is within easy - and pleasant- walking distance from the museums and restaurants and the Vezere path. Breakfast / evenings under the tall trees in the garden by the Beune, with birds and roses and a friendly cat was our favorite activity. Proprietors went out of their way to meet our needs.

The couple who run this hotel is just the sweetest you can find. In the bar area, there is a great collection of Armangnac from various years. If you ask for a Cognac, the owner will happily give you a lecture about why Armagnac is better, and guide you through the collection. Staying for severall nights and having the host present a new one every night, is just superb. Rooms are very clean. The garden and pool area are very well kept. The hotel is very quiet. The breakfast is continental, with no option for English breakfast. This is my second stay in this hotel. The hosts are like friends. It was really hard to leave this time. Absolutely recommended!

My room was huge with period furniture and decorations set the the tower portion of the manor. Its set back from the road surrounded by vines and fields making the whole experience one of going back in time. The breakfast room was a spacious salon of the manor too. Our host spoke excellent english. Go while you can, my feeling was that the current staff of three was rather overworked and the property may be being sold

This is a lovely property. The staff is attentive without being invasive. We only had the buffet breakfast for several mornings and it was delicious - enough to keep us fueled through dinner.

It was exceptionally beautiful and with a massive garden. The owner is Chinese and has built a Chinese pagoda and Koi Pond to add to the French style ‘manoir’. The big pool overlooks the river. The house is pretty old, but it really has its charm. We went outside of the touristic season so we had the whole castle to ourselves.
