A beach town about 15 minute drive from the sea.
A beach town about 15 minute drive from the sea. Don't be fooled into thinking it's near the sea, as if you don't have a car it is a little difficult. There is a bus service but found Uber more convenient.
The old part of Saint-Cyprien is charming and Le pub de la Francaise is the gem of the town - great food, drink and service. The museum is also well worth a visit. There isn't anywhere to hire bikes to get to Saint-Cyprien Plage - you hire from Saint-Cyprien Plage. Most people seem to cycle or drive. The botanical gardens are lovely and we enjoyed eating at Quai Ouest who were very lovely and friendly. We as a family of 5 with 3 older children (13, 18 and 21) walked everywhere or took 2 Ubers. We enjoyed our taste of South of France 🇫🇷

Aside from the beach and port there was little of note in the village itself, clearly a resort with older clientele - the younger generations would be and were more at home at Argeles just up the road

Everything you could want for a a 3/4 night stay to chill...
Everything you could want for a a 3/4 night stay to chill and see some other pretty villages down to the Spanish border. Take note- everything shuts down on the beaches at the end of August. We went the first week of September and there wasn’t a beach club or café open.
Also the sea can be incredibly rough…. There are miles of sand but the wind can be vicious.

Small hotel in tranquil location on the canals at St Cyprien Lagune. Surrounded by private real estate. 3 minute shuttle boat to beach. Lovely roof top pool and spa. Much needed as the weather was awful and sitting by the outside pool was not an option. Food good. Breakfast buffet choices huge. Room overlooking pool very comfortable, bed great and bathroom had everything you could need. Just one tip- you need a car. There are no shops/facilities in walking distance. And you need to pre- book taxis.

Self contained apartment on a golf resort. Modern, clean, well equipped. Walking distance from the beach. All for less than you'd pay for a cheapish hotel.
