It is clean and tidy, breakfast is good, service is good and location is ideal

I have traveled many times from Germany to Spain and had always stopped at the hotel just next to the ACE. This time I decided to try out the AXE and I was so pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable, all very appealing & modern, great room and even better bathroom, wonderful front desk and breakfast staff, great breakfast discount on very nearby restaurants and even the elevator was nice. I can say nothing at all negative about this hotel. I just loved it all!

I stayed in a room on the 9th floor and got an amazing view of Lyon from my window. The hotel is situated in Vénissieux just outside the city boundaries of Lyon and tramline T4 has a stop just outside the hotel. Metro D also has a stop nearby. The tram allows quick access to Lyon's extended public transport network and travels directly to Part Dieu train station as well. Eklo Hotel itself was lovely. Staff are fluent in French and English and they were nice and helpful. Breakfast was always plentiful and delicious. There is also a Carrefour just across the boulevard in case you need to buy supplies or food.

The decorations vintage style enchanted me during my whole stay, you'll never get bored looking at the posters of different countries on the wall. And the staff is exceptionally kind and respectful.

Room was as described on booking, no surprises: basic but clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom and shower. Perfect location for quick stop along the highway A6. Breakfast was varied enough for everyone to find something to his/her liking.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were wonderful — friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout out visit. Both the hotel and the room were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and provided a nice start to the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

A budget hotel with a very good value for money. It was previously an Ibis hotel now under a new logo. All equipment in very good shape and clean. Very kind staff. Great for an overnight on a long car journey as close to the inner ring and motorway.

Excellent hotel with very professional and attentive staff. Very well-maintained, clean, quiet, easy to access, free parking with plenty of space, and a great location. Everything is close to the city, shops, and especially the major highways for a quick trip to Lyon or to sunny Marseille. Breakfast could be improved; there needs to be more choice, especially savory options like eggs, cold cuts, or even fruit. I recommend this hotel without hesitation and would stay here again whenever I'm passing through.
