It’s quiet, with a clean room and relaxing to be there. Private parking , perfect breakfast, actually something to re-book. This is a jewel, a beautiful little place tucked away just behind Autun Cathedral (but you can drive to it). It is a B&B, so you get a wonderful breakfast. The host/hostess are extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They sent me on a delightful hike through the town and out into the countryside which was *exactly* what I wanted to do. At the same time, they were perfectly respectful of my desire for privacy. The room was charming and decorated with a bit of "Provencal" colored textiles. If this place is available when you are going to Autun, you should definitely reserve it.
