Hotel was near the motorway which was perfect. No reception, a machine distributes the key, easy once you know how! The breakfast was good value, buffet with enough choice to satisfy. Staff was friendly and helpful, good parking facilities.

What a beautiful place! The dinner was extraordinary and we would highly recommend staying there just to have the opportunity to dine in there. The staff was welcoming and so kind as we had a large golden retriever with us and they welcomed him and made him feel like a king!

I am bike touring France and have stayed thus far in 21 different hotels. Without a doubt the small 2 star Hotel de France was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in over 1 months cycling in France. And it was the ONLY hotel I’ve stayed at in this entire trip that had TURNED ON HEAT in rooms!! Ever hotel before this hotel the rooms were freezing and cold. I highly recommend this hotel. Store my bike in locked garage, had elevator, wonderful breakfast and the staff was just awesome and Frederick and his wife are now good friends. Awesome place to stay!!!!
