Dali, the host, was delightful. He patiently, and with good humor, used his phone translation app to explain everything to us, including directions for the short walk to see the monastery in the village. The air conditioning was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was perfect. The breakfast was small but perfectly adequate.

One of the highlights was sharing both breakfast and dinner with all the guests and Julien at one long table. It created such a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it so easy to meet lovely people from all over. The room was good, nicely decorated, and came with an view over the fields and mountains – both from the room and the garden. It was the perfect peaceful setting to relax and enjoy nature. Dinner each night was a real treat. Julien prepared a delicious 3-course meal that easily matched restaurant quality – it felt like a gourmet experience every evening.
