A simple hotel, being brought back to life by young and enthusiastic owners. The rooms are dated, but gradually being renovated. The food was really excellent, and was served on a beautiful terrace with views over the valley.

We liked the atmosphere in this historic building. The landlord was very kind, he also lives in the building and therefore we were given the keys and the instructions personally. Essential equipment, coffee and tea was provided. The house is in the centre of the ancient town. You can get there with your car to unload your luggage. 24h free parking places are available at a short walking distance (approximately 600 m).

This was a gem. On the day we visited the restaurant was closed, and we were the only guests, but the hosts offered a huge platter of charcuterie and another of cheese together with 500ml carafe of wine at €15.00 per head. This was prepared and left for us in the fridge. This could have been eaten on our own verandah, in the kitchen area, or on a shady outdoor space. The well stocked kitchen was available for use to make drinks when we chose.
