To experience Bugarach from Le Presbytère is to FULLY experience Bugarach. It is nestled at the base of the mountain with a full view from the Secret Garden (sunrise photo). The exterior of the guest house belies the beauty of this place - stepping inside is like stepping into a beautiful photo that transcends time. Even the wall painted in gold seemed to be trompe d'oeil, shifting and moving as if alive. The owner, Claire, prepares the most delicious and nurturing breakfasts and dinners - we could not get enough - and it provided the sustenance we needed to climb the Pic, the Chateaus and the Hermitage among other stops on our Pilgrimage 🌹🙏🪷
