Our stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional – a big thank you to our wonderful host, Julien, who truly made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and let’s not forget – funny! The ambiance of the place exceeded all expectations. One of the highlights was sharing both breakfast and dinner with all the guests and Julien at one long table. It created such a warm and friendly atmosphere, making it so easy to meet lovely people from all over. The room was good, nicely decorated, and came with an view over the fields and mountains – both from the room and the garden. It was the perfect peaceful setting to relax and enjoy nature. Dinner each night was a real treat. Julien prepared a delicious 3-course meal that easily matched restaurant quality – it felt like a gourmet experience every evening. Amazing location, high standards, easy to find. Staff very friendly and helpful, reception lady who welcomed us in the evening had a lot of patience with showing around, providing alternate options for dinner.

Despite a problem with Booking.com that didn't record that the hotel was closed, the owners were waiting for me when I checked in. I was immediately upgraded to a better room and was also offered dinner in my room. Food was exceptional, the cheese board perfect as was breakfast in the morning. Being the only guest in a hotel was a new experience, slightly strange but rather enjoyable.
