Overall the facility is great and the hosts were very nice and quick to accomodate our schedule and requests. It is in a very quiet place with beautiful scenery

A beautiful old building with lots of charm, a rose garden and garden sitting space, friendly helpful staff, wonderful restaurant, comfortable room with medieval rooftop views, cocktails in the garden and convenient to the town open air market and shops and river walk.

The room was beautiful with 12 foot ceilings. Well-placed, enormous mirrors made the room look much larger. The bathroom was also very large but the best part was that we had a deck that was as large as the room itself. Parking at first looked like it could be difficult but we were given a roped off stall right in front of the hotel. This is a very old building (mansion) that shows its age in things like the original oak floors and well-worn staircases but it has modernized the rooms to 21st century standards. We loved our stay.

The family(?) that runs the place is very kind and makes you feel at home. I'm not an expert, but it gave me the idea that everything you eat or taste was an authentically local product and it's surely an important thing during a pleasure trip. Definitely suggested.

The small Hotel Bien-Etre aux Cypress is a little gem. Beautifully situated in the small village of Marquay with a marvelous view. Very quiet. Our host Claude was wonderful to talk to and very helpful. Our king bed room was small but tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Great home base to explore the Perigueux.

great location for visiting Lascaux Caves. nice large room in rural location with the sound of nearby stream. had a sauna and hot tub with the pool.
