In this and many chambres d’hote, French B&B, you often get more than you expect. Certainly true in this here, where the host was eager, friendly, and meticulous. My room was large and bright with a hot water kettle and tea/coffee (something not common in French hotels). She showed me the bath and WC, not en-suite but right next door. Because that there were fluffy robes for making the short trip. The bath itself was huge and had a jacuzzi option. She asked in advance about supper which I declined but happily poured me a small carafe of wine for a small price and delivered in on tray with fork and spoon for my pretty a manger salad. Breakfast was ample, varied and delicious in the French form - breads, croissant, confiture, yaourt, etc. you pay less than a hotel and get much more.
