A great location with beautiful sea views, convenient parking, updated clean bathroom, comfortable room, lots of efficient little storage shelves. Attentive staff. The best was the magnificent breakfast, which was included in the price. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee brewed from beans, fresh tea made from organic leaves, all sorts of fantastic fresh products from Normandy, including great cheeses, jams, pastries, etc. A true joy.

Great social space after a day of travel.

We always stay in hotel Falaise when coming back to Normandy. It is our favourite seaside town. In future we will request a room on the basement floor as the stairs are quite tiresome with heavy suitcases. Lovely French hotel with friendly staff.

We were 4 lady cyclists cycling part of the Vélomaritime. Karine went above and beyond when we arrived very tired and wet. There was good secure storage for our bikes She was also very helpful in trying to discover trains we might take as forecast was poor. Thank you Karin

Old fashion hotel. Nothing fancy, just plan nice.

The hotel location is excellent, right in front of the beach and close to the city center. Our room had a beautiful sea view.

Our room was beautiful overlooking the extensive garden area at the front of the hotel. The room was of an exceptional standard perfect for our stay.

This was our first time visiting Houlgate and the Cabourg area. The Villa Les Bains is located right downtown and a short walk to the beach. We visited in December, so there was no trouble finding parking across from the hotel. The hotel is cozy and charming, the check in area has a sitting area and a small bar with a winter theme for the season, I would have stayed and read a book there if I'd had the time. The rooms (we had two as a family of four) were comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had breakfast and it was well stocked and delicious with a lot of choice. Everything was wonderful and we hope to return again to visit for a few more days in the off-season. Also, the staff (I don't have his name) was welcoming, professional, and very helpful. I am in hospitality business so we can get on the east side to criticize when experiences isn’t up to standards. But here at the Royal hotel the staffing were perfectly train pleasant and professional.

Everything was spotless clean and I had a lovely room with a nice view
