Lovely clean and quiet. In a good location for event in Holkham Estate. Off street car parking and very helpful hosts. I was late arriving and they even had 2 lovely slices of homemade cake left in the room. Bathroom was spotless and the robes/slippers were a lovely touch.

The location is just perfect, you look out on the quay and have a beautiful view. We were lucky to watch Xmas tide out of our window because it was raining. The bedroom is a good size, we loved the chairs by the window. The bedroom was comfy, bathroom was great and the towels were super soft. We also loved the extra touches, like the toiletries, chocolates and apple juice.

I don't know how I should express how wonderful this hotel is. From the warm welcome over the breakfast to the lovely bedrooms there was all perfect. We never have been to a better hotel. The room was nice and cosy. You can make tea or coffee for a perfekt start in the day. The breakfast was delicous. You can order outside the menue. The scramble eggs were delicous. You can alos have fresh fruit, toast and bread, joghurt and many more. Im the evening or the day over you can sit in the garden or the patio and have a drink. In the afternoon you can enjoy a cream tea. If you are in the area stay in this hotel. This is an unforgettable experience.

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding in nearby Thursford, but that was enough to feel how special Bert is. He does not just run a bed and breakfast, he shares his house with his guests and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Besides, the breakfast spread was amazing.

We liked everything! Our room was very clean.

We liked everything! Our room was very clean. Lots of thoughtful extras provided. Home made cake in our room with an extensive range of beverages available. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. A fabulous large lounge with an honesty bar. Very reasonable prices. The hosts were very nice. They were welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, freshly cooked from an extensive menu. There was a beautiful garden to relax in. Easy parking available. We loved our stay and we hope to return. We visited Wells-next the sea and Holkham hall.

Not there long enough to fully appreciate the village, but...

Not there long enough to fully appreciate the village, but it appeared to be off the beaten track and away from tourists which was welcomed. I would describe it as an unspoilt and thriving village in North Norfolk.

Carpenter's Arms - a great pub/restaurant who were very accommodating for our needs. including providing a glass of ice (for the cottage) on request, as well as juggling tables on the first night (as didn't realise how busy it was) that allowed us to eat at the time we wanted and the meal was fabulous.

Wighton is a lovely quiet place

Wighton is a lovely quiet place Our holiday suite was perfect , very lovely views also , cows in a field out the window , hot tub , plenty of places to sit in garden As for breakfast , superb , massive choice , and very tasty , there was nothing the hosts Carole and Sam , wouldn't do for you Can't get any better than this

A good quiet village llocation excellent for exploring the...

A good quiet village llocation excellent for exploring the local area by car. The restaurant across the road serves lovely food. The village church had a quality art exhibition when we were there. The coastal town of Wells Next the Sea is only a few miles away for more entertainment & shops.

The location, room and facilities were all excellent.

The location, room and facilities were all excellent. The premises were very spacious and very clean. Fresh milk was provided in fridges for tea making. The breakfast was lovely and cooked in front of us which was a nice touch. The premises are located in an ideal location for travelling to Fakenham, Wells-next-the-sea, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer.
