We had the best experience at the guesthouse in Argovi. Everything felt like a fairy tale: the hosts' hospitality, the location of the guesthouse nestled among the hills in complete peace and quiet, the comfort of the room, the wine, and, last but not least, the food. Everything I could have asked for in a lodging and more. Golden Cradle is a special gem unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed in my travels abroad. Aside from the obvious allure of staying in such a unique building it’s extra special for being next to a beautiful lake and having the most hospitable of hosts who really went out of their way to be accommodating and make me feel welcomed like family. The place is even better than we expected! Two large and comfortable bedrooms, a living room with a sofa, a kitchen where it was very comfortable! Good Internet, so I could work online. The view from there is just amazing as well as sunsets and sunrises) We definitely want to come back!

The place is just amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. The host spoiled us with free homemade wine, cooked us organic meals, played with my son, and even took us in his pickup truck to see the area. The compound was clean, green, with animals running around, cute things everywhere, and an amazing view. There's a vineyard!
