We stayed 2 nights at this hotel run by family. The location is very central yet very quiet. Has a very nice terrace with a magnificent view. They even invited us to their family lunch and when I kindly refused, she insisted to try their special cheese Khinkali and they were delicious. One of Nino’s son who speaks very good English helped us to book the train ticket online. In the morning of departure day Nino packed lovey pastry for the road. That morning we try to get taxi in front of the hotel since there was no available taxi from Bolt neither Yandex. Nino found out and sent the other son. He took us to the train station and make sure we are all good and we try to pay him but he refused. Their kindness and hospitality we will never forget and if we ever come back we will definitely stay in this hotel. Thank you very much Nino and family!

I would rate Hotel Aragvi as average to above average overall. On the positive side, the location is quite good and the rooms are kept very neat and clean. However, the rooms are definitely on the smaller side with almost no space to move around comfortably. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal was not stable during the stay, which was a bit frustrating.

Most visitors I feel have too short of time in Mtskheta... most come on a day trip out of Tbilisi. We spent 4 days there.. saw the Cathederal and city without the tourist rush... it has a different vibe and well worth the stay.

We went to different restaurants. Especially the river side cafe was very friendly and made us feel really special! The people in the information office right in the town centre were very friendly and helpful! They would need to be more supported with maps for hikers.

The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly.

The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly. It was located in the backyard of their house but still comfortable. There were no windows or anything towards the cabin itself. It's close to the riverside, and you could easily walk there. The rest looked the same as the pictures. There were also some snacks in the mini-fridge, but I believe you have to pay some extra charge for them (we didn't use them, so I'm not sure). upstairs was very hot (we went there in July) but while you were downstairs you could easily use AC. Also, I expected some slippers but I couldn't find any.

All in all a lovely place. Very peaceful. Not at all chaotic. Very friendly. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, river tours. Very nice wine ice cream. A great place for a stop over. Lovely homemade jewellery design shops.

Mtskheta can be seen in a day.

Mtskheta can be seen in a day. I stayed for a week due to personal reasons. It's a nice quiet place, with little distraction so I was able to focus on my work. Lovely little town, exceptionally touristy. Very little to do especially in Winter. Truly beautiful, can walk down to the river or around the church, the mountains in the distance are lovely. Hiking trails and nature nearby. Pedestrian-friendly.

An amazing apartment in the heart of Mtskheta. A lovely host who was absolutely amazing and prepared us the most delicious breakfast. The apartment is literally on the pedestrians tree t next to the church, you go out and all the stalls are around you. Lots of nice restaurants nearby, and you can explore the town really quickly. Parking is possible behind a barrier which they open for you. There is a fridge and kitchen utensils, as well as two bedrooms. More than comfortable for four people. The bathroom is clean, has nice hot water.

The place is very special, since it give you 100 per cent sense of the historic city. It is clean, modern, fully equipped, and looks inside/outside rather like high star hotel. Just steps to main Cathedral. The hosts showed amazing hospitality. At departure time Nana treated us with freshly baked very tasty Georgian pie. Thank you so much, Nana and Nika. Highly recommended

Extremely nice owner, who speaks German and English. It was very nice to talk to her and she greeted us with a glass of homemade wine. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is opposite of one the main sights of Mtskheta.
