I recently visited the high mountains of Tusheti, and staying at this hotel was truly the highlight of my trip. The location is just unbelievable — surrounded by raw, untouched nature and the kind of mountain views you usually only see in postcards. The hosts were incredibly kind and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. You can tell they really care about their guests and love sharing the beauty of Tusheti. The rooms were cozy and clean, with big windows that open up to the most peaceful landscapes. Food was another level — homemade, fresh, and full of local flavor. Every meal felt like it was cooked with love. What really made this place special was the atmosphere — calm, genuine, and full of heart. I left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of coming back. If you’re heading to Tusheti, don’t even think twice — this is the place to stay.

Lashari is the most wonderful place one can dream of. Heleni, her grandmother and her husband are perfect hosts. The location is unbelievably beautiful, the food was the best we ate in all our stay in Georgia and the homely atmosphere was so nice. I really felt sad to leave.

This place is very likely to be the best place you will find in all of Omalo. We planned to stay 1 night and extended to 3 (would’ve been 4 but it was fully booked). One night in another homestay made it clear that Levan and the family have a spectacular setup. Their home has everything you need (clean, comfy rooms, hot water, all the standard things in order), but something else is special. Extravagant breakfast (even pancakes!) and dinners cooked by the mother and sister, and served on the porch every morning with the ever-stunning views of the mountains. Most evenings Levan starts a bonfire and guests gather for a cozy night under the starry sky! Here Levan is subjected to all types of questions, and has as a result become known as the Google of Tusheti. Do ask him to tell how he met and befriended a local mountain bear! 🐻 We were, unfortunately, not there long enough to meet it!

You don't come here to look for hotel comfort. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean and the guesthouse, in general, was clean. Bathroom had warm water running. The hosts were amazing, hospitable and caring and the food they cooked us was delicious. Also, they were very responsive on answering the messages sent on Booking. The view from the guesthouse was incredible and I could not get enough of it. Obviously, it was quiet during the night. I would definitely come back. Thank you for the hospitality!
