Lucia, the owner of the place, was an incredible host - she made sure that all our needs were met and we felt like at home during our stay. Strarting from the very first moments - we requested at the very last moment transfer from the airport, because our plans changed and she made it - waiting for us at the very early morning, providing warm welcome and short briefing about Corfu and where we will stay. When we arrived, we also received recommendations for beaches, shops, restaurants, bars - everything and everything really worth the recommendation. The room itself had everything we needed - simple, but very clean - the kitchen was well equipped, and there was enough space for our belongings. I loved the terrace where we had the opportunity to have dinner every night enjoying sunset, sea sounds, and olive trees.

Everything was perfect and our vacation was one of the best we had in Greece. Giannis and Olga were great and helpfull with everyting. The room was great and fitted with everything we needed, including sandwichmaker, coffe-maker etc. Rooms were super clean and also cleaned regulary during our stay. In the front of the building they have a supermarket where you can stock on food, snacks, drinks, ice and many more. you can even buy water shoes, gifts and souvenirs there. The sandy beach in front of the building is great if you want to stay close by, but also toher sandy beaches are available in the area if you want to have some variation. Good tavernas are also available close. Private parking was available right next to the building, which was also a big advantage. Next time we will come to Corfu we will definitely stay here again.

The house offers so much, for such a low price. The owners were so nice and welcoming. The place is clean and spacious. Beds are comfy. Towels and bedsheets were changed regularly. It was so nice and cosy. And in addition, there is a gorgeous garden.

Giannis and his sister Elleni were very helpful and made us feel very welcome during our stay, the property we stayed in was perfect, and is in a good location next to the bus stop, cocktail bar and supermarket, the beach was only a 5 min walk away.

It is very quiet at the northen end of the bay, nearest...

It is very quiet at the northen end of the bay, nearest Porto Timon, which suits me. The other end has larger places to stay and more restaurants etc. There is a supermarket which is well stocked, and several more further round. Three restaurant which cover most tastes; traditional Greek, nice fish one and a modern one with pizzas, (very good) burgers, tacos etc and a friendly bar. All the staff in all of them are really nice. I drive here from the airport so can go elsewhere if I want - though we didn't this time! Can't wait to go back in September!!

The northern end of the bay is wonderfully quiet.

The northern end of the bay is wonderfully quiet. The beach is largely sand and a joy to swim in. You can hire a canoe, paddle board or boat from Dimitri and Babis on the beach or take a 5 minute trip to Porto Timon for the day. There is one shop and three restaurants - all of which are lovely. The staff recognised me again this visit! A walk towards the other end brings a few more shops and restaurants, though we were happy to stay at our end. Lunch at home, dinner out in the evening. Wine is good and cheap in the shop - better than going to Lidl, though we picked up basics there when we collected the car in Corfu town. It's useful to have a car - on the last couple of visits we've had overcast or rainy days and it's good to explore the area.

Late September - mainly couples of all ages and a small number of pre-school families. Small amount of package tourism, mainly independents. Tons of space on the very long beach & lots of sun-lounger options. Mainly sandy beach, few pebbles here & there - sand not too coarse or too fine. Sea gorgeous - clear & refreshing but still lovely & warm. Tavernas have great standard of food & service. Various boat trip options on offer. Few small supermarkets with some gifts too. Stunning sunsets every night!

Agios Georgios Pagon is one of the best beaches in the island for sure! It is very quiet, so if you are looking for night life or restaurants open at midnight, this is not the right area for you. However, if you are looking for a nice place to stay, calm and clean (and cold) water then that's it! There is only 2 buses from and to Corfu, and they might be booked in advance (especially the one that goes to Corfu). You can book some activities directly at the beach, like visits to Porto Timoni. You can also go walking to Afionas, which has a great view on the sunset and amazing restaurants.

Wonderful bay, very large, very peaceful.

Wonderful bay, very large, very peaceful. Great selection of cafes and tavernas. Lovely walks around the bay and at either end of the bay. The sea is colder on the westcoast, which we really enjoyed as it was very refreshing. In the south part of the bay the beach is very sandy and fairly shallow, the north part has pebbles and goes deep quite quickly. It's possible to rent boats, kajaks, SUPs and pedal boats. The sea is really clear and clean and there are life guards on the beach.
