I had a wonderful stay at Skyview Studio! The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed at every step. The apartment was very clean and warm, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. It had everything I needed for a pleasant stay – a comfortable place to sleep, a fully equipped kitchen for making breakfast, coffee, tea, and heating up meals, as well as a hot shower to relax after a long day. One of the highlights was the spacious terrace, which added to the charm of the studio. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely return with pleasure and highly recommend it to everyone. Additionally, the location is perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Lake Kerkini.

I highly recommend Kerkini houses. The apartment is incredibly clean, the bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. Attention was paid to every little detail, the owners are always cooperative and responsive to any request. Excellent location, close to the main street where there are restaurants, a gas station, and a supermarket, and close to Lake Kerkini

We (couple) stayed here for about 10 nights in February 2026 for a birding trip to the lake for two species of Pelicans, and flamingos (not here this winter - too much rain). Anyway, the house is newly redone. It gets the basics 100% right: good heat, hot water and internet. Marinos (the young man who manages the place) is great, helpful and nice. His Mom makes wonderful Buffalo Yogurt (with honey), jams and such. You will get some (free) upon arrival. We appreciated this very much and thank them. In addition, Marinos knows everyone in the area, so is a really good contact - and easy to reach. For birders: there are at least three pairs of Little Owls very close by - if you play their call late in the afternoon, they will perch on rooftops nearby (or in the backyard at night - bring a flashlight for photography). Trips to see the pelicans: we recommend "Nick" (Marinos can contact him) for a three hour private trip (250 Euros) - he knows the lake and birds well (speaks English), and is a bird photographer. For food, we highly (highly) recommend Asylo (about a 12 minute drive) for great food and best price in the area (locals eat there). About 20-25 Euros for a splendid dinner (for a couple). The nearby bakery is very good (opens 7am/close 1pm) about 50 meters before the supermarket (has basics including cold cuts and fruit). Supermarket has good prices. Most of the other restaurants are much more expensive that did not match quality or quantity of food (eg nearby Meintani and Elodia). Avoid those. (Any restaurant that does not provide free bread or water when you sit down - just walk out.) In Kato Poroia (about a 25 minute drive) is a small wonderful seafood place (great grilled octopus and fried calamari)...address is Kato Poroia 620 (+30 2327 023011)...name is in Greek letters (apologies). Expensive (50 Euros for a great dinner for two with wine), and locals eat there.

The apartment is great for a couple or a family with kids. The location is also very nice as there is a nice little shop, cafeteria, and kids facilities downstairs and a traditional Greek taverna 2min walk from the house. The host is the very kind and hospitable and gave us hints for the best places to go, shop and try around (gorse riding, restaurants, boat trips, cafeterias with amazing views of the lake, etc.). It's one of the nicest stays we ever had and I can strongly recommend staying there.

Very nice and clean studio, near the village center, when you find restaurants, bars and bakery. Close to border with Bulgaria. Easy check in, easy check out
