Location is great, walking distance to very good restaurants and the lighthouse. If you are lucky you can find a parking space around. Staff was very helpful, room was clean, haven't had breakfast but it looked okay. There is a coffee machine running 24/7, which i really appreciate.

The staff was amazing. From the women that clean the rooms to the staff at the restaurant. Manole - the person at the buffet hall was the nicest person we ever met. He took care of us all - our little baby, and teenage girl :))) We had everything what we wish even before saying it. Also Ali was very, very nice and very professional. Best people ever. Also the pool life guard Villi. She was super super nice and lovely girl who took care us. Always smiling and helpful. We have been visiting Alexandroupoli since 15 years and we always liked it very much. Most of the hotels and restaurants are our favourities. Sometimes we can't find rooms in the good hotels and we have to stay in the hotels we don't like. Especially Turks like us are having very good time in there and spend a lot of money. Especially the hotels like Sofia's should consider this or Booking should be more concerned by listing them.

Every time the town is better and better.

Every time the town is better and better. During summer the main road along the beach is closed and become promenade. I see some projects from previous years are done (bike line, small garden next to monument, refreshed pavements) , other in progress like new pedestrian line next to stadium on the end of promenade. I wish all city beaches to be clean and to do not go out of the town. Can not upload the pictures, will try again later, highly recommended!

If you are not planning a swimming holiday or a shopping trip to places like Jumbo or the supermarkets, one day is probably enough to visit the city, as there is not much else to do. There are also many excellent seafood and grill restaurants in the city. The cuisine is very good, with plenty of options for both breakfast and dinner, and you can enjoy delicious meals throughout the day. However, for the most popular places, it is highly recommended to make a reservation in advance. There are plenty of restaurant options, so you can easily choose according to your taste and budget. During the day, there are also many casual and quick food options available for a snack or light meal. There is one main street where most of the shops are located. The streets parallel to it on the seaside are mostly pedestrian areas filled with restaurants and cafés. On the other side of the main street, the area feels more residential, with apartment buildings and local neighborhoods. There is also a small amusement park right by the lighthouse along the seaside, which is ideal for families with children.

Such an underrated city. Friendly.

Such an underrated city. Friendly. Tremendous "corniche" waterfront full of people, restaurants and cafes. Easy access to high quality beaches. Because it is off the beaten track for Western tourists, prices are also reasonable.

Underrated Greek venue that deserves more.

Underrated Greek venue that deserves more. A town where all ages could live a very happy life. I felt safe and in peace for myself and my child, my beloved. Beach and sea area - kept intact as much as possible in nowadays common nonsense worldwide. You'd love pleasant views, walks around, some culture and venues, unbothered beach experience, shop local, kids playground, cozy cocktails, good food, and more - you've got it.

The property is close to the airport and yet close to the action so many cafes and taverns everything a family needs is near by.it spears to me that the code for the door handle electronic entry is not always given to guests.however when we asked for it it was provided and as we were a family of 11 it was very helpful.the property is fairly new so all was good for us .

I want to start by saying that Alexandroupolis is a beautiful and peaceful city where you can spend a vacation with children or the whole family. This city is perfect for a family getaway: it has clean streets, beautiful beaches, and cozy cafés.
