Very unique and special house-hotel in a special and beautiful village. The house has many traditional and also very artistic touches. We were using one of two guest rooms during mid-March and the hostess was very gracious and attentive. Breakfast had many dishes and options for everyone’s taste.

Superb hotel managed by an extremely kind and welcoming family. Great spot to access the best beaches and villages in the region, overlooking the deep blue sea. Highly recommend. Amazing service, too, they do great food and drinks from early morning to late evening.

Edit: (08.09.2023) «Το χωριό μου στο Πήλιο δεν υπάρχει πια» - "My village in Pelion no longer exists" - this sentence from the Greek medias describes with what all local communities in Pelion are collide. The storm "Daniel" seems to devastated the roads, the infrastructure, the houses ... but not the people. I believe that these people will succeed to rebuild their society. And I warmly advice all of you, that are looking for a nice vacation, to choose that region, that part of the world ... I think that this way you will help them lot ... My old review: (15.08.2023) I was waiting a week, before to write this review. And i was wandering - to write or not to write :) And that was just because we (me and my wife) were not sure - if we told to everybody about this village, about this piece of old sea paradise - will it stay the same next year ... As the name implies, Anilio is not a very sunny village.

As the name implies, Anilio is not a very sunny village. There are lots of flowers, a bunch of old churches scattered around and some nice restaurants offering local food. One of the lesser known villages of Pelion and thus still somehow untouched by tourism.

Hard to drive around!

Hard to drive around! The villages are cute but there is not much to do except eating! No shops or other entertainment also hard to walk around etc. Not easy to drive to the different beaches… when you do i would say they are kind of disappointing. Greece has much better beaches so these where not what I expected. Its nice for 2-3 days max to relax.
