A brand new hotel, very nicely located in a calm area, but close to the city. Contemporary designed hotel with luxury feel and attention to details. The entry hall and the stairs are a true masterpiece. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well organized and fully equipped. Staff was very professional and helpful, yet friendly. We were allowed to check in earlier and were provided complimentary free breakfast. Liana, was extremely helpful throughout our stay. She helped us to plan the visits around and gave us great suggestions. Furthermore, she invited us to the Easter party lunch organized by the hotel with traditional music and tasty food. Breakfast is buffet style, everything is freshly made and very well presented. Finally, food was very delicious. The garage is free , which is a bonus. I would definitely choose to stayhere again whenever I visit Crete.

Beautiful hotel. The pool was quite big! And the pool área is really nice to chill in. Our room was clean, well equiped and beautiful. Staff went above and beyond to help us with our every need. You will have a superb view while eating breakfast which is homemade. Parking in the área can be difficult but old town is just 10 minutes down the street and when you want to go back you can catch a taxi for 5 euro which we did every night. Stay here as many nights as you can!!!

Every member of staff was wonderfully friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our room was really spacious with a balcony looking over the harbour. Air conditioning worked brilliantly and quietly even in extremely high temperatures. Plenty of choice at breakfast which was served in a beautiful setting.

Gerani is a lovely small village up on the hillside.

Gerani is a lovely small village up on the hillside. There are a few places you could eat and drink and a couple of supermarkets and a bakery. If you were staying in a villa, eating out in Gerani could be enough. If you’re looking for bright lights and lots of restaurants then you would need to travel into Rethymno. Because of its location and depending on where you may be staying, you may need to walk up hill to get there.

The place itself does not have anything outstanding, but it is an authentic Greek village and this is what we liked. It has nice and very good tavernas, very narrow streets. Honestly, I would prefer for tourists to stay away from this place. :)

We had a most pleasant weather during our one-week stay at...

We had a most pleasant weather during our one-week stay at Gerani, 26-28 degrees during Oct.5-12, and enjoyed swimming in the sea each day. Convenient distances to Preveli and Plaka beaches, and had a one-day trip by ship to Balos as well. Enjoyed good food and best service at the restaurant nearby. A couple of times we prepared our own meal at the villa, where we had all facilities needed.

The most perfection home!

The most perfection home! It was clean, great location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hospitality was beyond excellent. Easy communication with the owner. He regularly checked in to ensure everything was fine. He went above and beyond, and to him we are grateful. Our experience with this home made our trip a pleasant experience. There was housekeeping offered during our stay. This was the first time I have experience this when booking a home. Thank you to Alex and his team for making us feel like family! Highly recommend!!
