Probably the best value on our trip to Mani! The room was comfortable, excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds and linens, patio with excellent view of Marmari Beach, great beach bar and beach service, and we enjoyed the restaurant as well!

We stayed for one night (but I wish we’d stayed for two nights at least). Porto Kagio is a very small intimate charming little village stretched across the beach of a small cove. A wonderful getaway spot with stunning views on the approach. The owner Panayioti was kind and generous, offering to help with our bags then bringing us coffee on our patio. Our room was charming and well appointed, with a cupboard, a desk, a suitcase rack, and a little fridge. Clean with a comfortable bed. We had a patio with a sea view and we were a short stroll to the beach. Breakfast was served on the top floor patio although the owner offered to serve us on our patio. Breakfast itself was fine although myself I would have liked some fresh fruit too. We did an easy walk around to the point where there is a little church and a stunning view back to the cove. We ate fresh and perfectly cooked fish at Taverna Porto right on the beach. An enjoyable time altogether.

Psamathous Guesthouse is a great Mani classical stone building with very artistic decor. Zamila, the host, was so friendly and nice, taking care of all details. Associated Porto Taverna is very good with nice, friendly staff (dinner and our included breakfast there). Porto Kagio is in an incredibly beautiful coastal cove. 10 minute walk to the small Greek Church - really spectacular, pristine coastal scenery (especially magical in spring, like when we were there!) Really a great low cost option in a location that is a hidden gem. You have to get there to appreciate it in full. And the family team running this place is doing such a great job! I extended my stay without hesitation, a first for me, that's how good this place is.

Wonderful location and house! Everything was perfect and such an incredible view! Our host was lovely, as well.

We loved the location for exploring Cape Tainaron the next morning. Most of all, we thoroughly enjoyed staying in an authentic, traditional stone house and the hospitality of the family running it. They served us a fantastic meal and were very welcoming. I cannot recommend it too highly. Another bonus is that their is a gorgeous sunset view from the balcony.
