We've been travelling for 2 weeks in Greece and this was the first time we felt like we were experiencing the real Greek hospitality. Super friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Loved the room in the medieval castle town, lots of room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very helpful.

The recently renovated Hotel Aktaion is located right at the entrance of the bridge leading to the castle of Monemvasia. It offers stunning views of the rock of Monemvasia and its small port.

Location is great. It was easy to arrive to the hotel and the parking area is right in front. We got a sea view. We couldn’t see the island but still had a great view at sunrise. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had breakfast included, which I wasn't aware of, so it was a pleasant surprise.
