Wonderful stay here as a solo traveler. I felt very safe within the area. A good location, shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment had everything needed and I knew the host was there whenever I needed. She even ordered me a taxi to a restaurant on one of the nights. Thank you for a pleasant stay 🫶🏼

There is a direct bus connection from the bus station near...

There is a direct bus connection from the bus station near the airport, the beaches are further from the road, which is not granted elsewhere along the shore. There are plenty of supermarkets with a wide variety of goods (food, cloths, cosmetics, presents, phone chargers, you name it). There are plenty of tavernas and restaurants along the beach offering greek dishes. The beach is sandy with little stones and bigger stones at the entrance to the sea, further from the beach there is only sandy sea bottom with occacional sea grass areas. The beach is either managed with rental sunbeds and umbrellas, or unmanaged, where you can put your towel on the sand or place your own umbrella (which you can buy in any supermarket around for about 13 euros).

A week is always to short to visit Messonghi.

A week is always to short to visit Messonghi. I love the people and the places from Spiros on the Beach for amazing fresh greek food, to Booca for drinks and snacks, to Mojos for amazing burgers and the best egg and bacon bap, to Dionysos for greek food, to Giacomos for the best Pizza and Pasta, then cocktails in Oliver Suites before a stroll back to the accommodation. Messonghi will always be my happy place.

Little village along the coastline with clean beaches, good choice of restaurants and apartment and hotels of all ranges. A quieter option than some of the resorts, perfect for couples wanting a more relaxed holiday.

mesongi is a beautiful plenty of lovely restaurants to eat and drink at.. the only problem this year was the lack of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach it was very crowded and space was at a premium.....but i still love the area and the little cafes and restaurants along the beach are brilliant

I have visited Messonghi many times and I consider it to be like a 2nd home to me. It has expanded over the years facilities wise, which has improved it's customer rating. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is a prime example of what makes Corfu such a special place to visit. It provides great memories for many people who visit. There are also some facebook pages and hotel websites to enjoy to give a clear indication of what to expect from such a south coastline Corfu gem. The people are so friendly, you are made to feel part of a local community and it is a very relaxed place. I have developed such great friendships over the years and it is easy to see why many who travel for holidays choose to reside there. Facilities are a plenty, as are restaurants and bars, along the seafront and the one main strip behind the beach front, which runs from the river to the end of the beach and beyond! There are some really good apartments available and a good selection of Hotels to choose from. Also, great boat trips to take and also great weather. Regarding the beach, it is fairly sandy but is also has pebbles too, but most people who visit do not mind this at all. There is a quieter end to it as well as the more commercialsed end with all the watersports and sunbeds and parasols. There are also swimming pools which are accessible for use. The famous old rickety pier and legendary fishing icon, the Blue Boat ! are a must to see. All in all, what's not to like! Try it.

Great area. Perfect amount of bars/restaurants for a week. Amazing beach Easily walkable around the whole resort. Great shops. Jet skiing & pedlos were great. Water sports rental guy was so friendly helpful. Enjoyable sunset boat trip to Corfu Town.

The Studio is amazing, with all facilities were as advertised. There's a comfortable King Size bed and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The view from our huge balcony, overlooked the pool (all of the units do), the beautiful Corfu mountains and the sea. The pool was great and sunbeds were also very comfortable - most days we had the area mainly to ourselves, it was so peaceful. The host, Stefanos and staff are amazing, we had an early check-in and check-out at no extra cost. AND.. its only a two minutes walk into the town and the beach.

The hotel was in a great location right on the beach. The main buffet restaurant was amazing with different themed nights every night ranging from authentic Greek food to traditional Chinese. The room was perfect! Very clean and well kept facilities! The pool was never too crowded and there was always plenty of loungers free throughout the day. The live music every night was a bonus! Small shop was a great addition to purchase the forgotten items such as sun cream and also souvenirs.

The food was incredible! It was so fresh and there was so much choice - there was something for everyone! The staff were lovely, the pools were brilliant and there is so much to do for all age groups. The beach, shops and bars are only a short 5 min walk from the hotel as well! I really enjoyed my stay at Apollo Palace and I would definitely go back!

Second visit to the hotel and we like it very much, quieter than others which suits us as we chill out for a few days at the bevy of our holiday. Has great beach bar for lunch and evening drinks, with fantastic staff who are very engaging! Beach is lovely too.
