Nea Mesangala is a small, peaceful seaside village, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The sandy beach is clean, the water is clear, and the sea has a gentle, shallow entrance, making it ideal for families with children.

We were very happy to come back to Maria's place again.
We were very happy to come back to Maria's place again. The apartment was just as good. I really like that it is close to the beach and that we also received full board from Micky at the Mesangeles bar there. Thank you to our host for these 7 peaceful nights. We will be back next year.
You have to come here by car because there are not many entertainment options in the area. We went to Platamon or Nea Pori every night for dinner and partying. It's about 10 km. But it's worth coming here because during the day you can swim peacefully on the sandy beach.

After 20-th of September is almost closed.
After 20-th of September is almost closed. Try to head Friday market in Neoi Poroi ( only 10 km to the N). Also there you can meet good food location which provide you take away meal.
Try Dionysos, Athos, very good.
For young coupels, sorry... only room "activities" -)

Slowly deepening sea, sandy, not crowded beach with beautiful view to the mountains, calm and relaxing area, safe for children (small car traffic), good restaurants, hospitable local people.
Good location for trips:
- Meteoras: 1:40 hour
- Olympus mountain, Prionia (starting point to Enipeas waterfalls): 1 hour
- Dion archeological park: 40 minutes
- Platamonas Castle: 20 minutes by car
This area should be much better advertised for families with children.
