Our suite was flooded with sunlight from morning to evening, beautifully designed and impossibly clean. Every detail felt thoughtful: towels that smelled like vanilla cake, high-end bath products, and a bed so comfortable it felt like floating. At night, subtle lighting made the whole place glow with a kind of old-world, art deco magic. Breakfast was a daily highlight — fresh, flavorful, and with enough variety to make each morning feel new. Whether we were heading out by car or ATV, we were perfectly situated to explore every corner of the island, and we did — slowly, meaningfully, meeting locals, wandering off path, letting the island unfold naturally. And the people? The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring — you could feel they wanted you to love your time there as much as they do. We had the most incredibly time staying here. Dimitra went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She arranged taxi pick up and drop off at the airport, and taxi service to a beach club we visited. Our room was absolutely beautiful with an outdoor jacuzzi, and amazing views of the entire island (especially during sunset). The city of Pyrgos is stunning with great restaurants and shops away from the craziness of Fira and Oia during peak season. I cannot recommend staying here more for the impeccable service, beautiful rooms, stunning views, and a delicious breakfast brought to your room every morning. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property tucked away in a quiet village of Pyrgos. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent stay. The spa room and the massage were so good. The suite was exceptional and very private. The suite looks much nicer in person than in the pictures. We were very pleased with the service there. Very accommodating and kind staff. They welcomed us with drinks and a cheese platter. The location was away from the noise and croud but still walking distance to some nice restaurants. The breakfast sent to the room was great. Huge selection to pick from and very delicious and fun experience to have breakfast while you enjoy the view from the comfort of your suite. The pool was warm and cleaned everyday.

Beautiful hotel away from the crowds. We came with some concerns because we saw bad reviews from 10 months back, turns out the management has completely changed and they tell has been redone with a new great management team, including Maria who was super nice to us and very helpful throughout our stay! The view at night is amazing, especially from the outdoor Jacuzzi’s, but some of the rooms have. The breakfast was also lovely with the view to a cathedral right in front of the restaurant and the staff was very helpful with luggage is and with anything we needed. Will come again!

Location:

Location: Pyrgos is a hidden gem compared to the bustle of Fira and Oia – much quieter and more authentic, yet with equally stunning views across the island. The village itself is charming, with picturesque alleyways, excellent restaurants, and a beautiful castle crowning the hilltop. Getting around is easy too, with straightforward bus connections to the rest of Santorini. Highly recommended if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere without missing out on anything. Favourite spots: The castle and the winding alleyways of Pyrgos itself are absolutely worth exploring. For sunset views over the caldera, Alchemia is a must – stunning location, great food, and we went back twice. Kantouni is a lovely traditional taverna, and Kavatza is a charming family-run spot serving excellent souvlaki in pita – we ended up there three times! For a relaxed drink in the village square, Johnnie CF is perfect. Getting around: The village is served by the Fira–Perissa bus line, stopping right at the village square. There's no fixed timetable so you need to be a bit flexible, but it runs regularly and at €2.20 to Fira it's great value. We never had to wait too long. Activities we'd recommend: Don't miss a wine tasting at Santo Wines – a fantastic experience with breathtaking views over the caldera.

I was there off season and many places were closed but I found just enough were open and the restaurants were terrific. It was more peaceful and less touristed than Fira and Oía but still with big views. Not for the mobility-impaired though. Hills to climb and unsmooth pavement but so fun to explore

Small village with some very nice restaurants. The people were friendly and we booked a car at local rental shop. They were cheap, professional and very helpful. They even came to our villa to pick up the car. Only 9 minutes from airport but you could not hear any planes. Villa on a hillside and if you suffer from any heart condition it is tough going walking from villa into village. Swimming Pool not heated we were unable to use it as it was so cold. My fault I did not enquire about heated pool before I booked. No local information material provided about taxi, restaurants etc so do your research before going. However, you can contact the owners via what’s app and the answer very quickly. Good wi-fi, very clean villa with friendly housekeeper. Excellent breakfasts.
