Beautiful, traditional Pyrgi house. Felt like we were staying in a gorgeous medieval home with modern comforts. Location was great—3 minute walk to the village square and the same distance to the parking area. Host was very kind, helpful and quick with responses. Pyrgi is a beautiful village that’s about a half hour’s drive from Chios with easy access to the best beaches in the south and west of the island. The house’s washing machine and 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with showers were very convenient for our family of 3. Some minor things to note—the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a door on it, just a doorway (no issue for our son). There is also no a/c downstairs, but our son was comfortable with just a fan, as the house stays much cooler than the outside because of the stone walls. The kitchen with a full size fridge and dining area are downstairs, whereas the living room with a mini -fridge, second bedroom with door, and a second bathroom (with washer) are upstairs. The upstairs rooms all have a/c and there is a very small balcony that seats 2 people, which is useful for drying clothes. The host also allows guests to use a larger, private outdoor seating area right next door to the house. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Pyrgi.

Comfortable, clean, modern, spacious studio near the main Square in Pyrgi. Roomy shower/ bathroom and plenty of conveniently placed outlets, storage space for clothing and toiletries. Plenty of parking up by the town hall, a 2 minute walk away. A gracious and friendly host who communicated well and offered to meet and help me park. Pyrgi is a charmer and I wish I had spent more than 3 nights here. Be sure to visit The Church of the Holy Apostles (Aghioi Apostoloi) to see the frescoes- open in the mornings until 3:30- just off the main square). will stay here again next time!
