Most incredible hospitality, location, food at the cafe, and views. Our stay was amazing, the room was very large and clean, we were greeted upon arrival by the hosts and they helped us carry our suitcases upstairs We will definitely be back! It felt like the perfect little oasis.

I think this was the best apartment we've ever been in, and...

I think this was the best apartment we've ever been in, and I'm not exaggerating. Everything was 10/10: the bathroom, the room, the small but fully operable kitchen, with all the utensils and necessary cookware. The entire apartment was spot clean! The bed, oh, the bed was amazing! I'm not the kind of guy who sleeps more than a couple of hours during the night, but at Livikon, I slept like a baby. It's spacious and soft; both my fiancée and I felt well-rested every single morning. The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning. You can see the coastline from there, plus the night sky is wonderful. I also have to mention Eleni, our host. She's not only wonderful as a person, but she makes you feel truly welcomed. We arrived at 03:30 AM that night from Chania; she was waiting for us and let us into the room although the check-in time was way later, with a plate of cookies waiting for us. Every single day, Eleni was providing clean towels, washing the dishes, and cleaning the floors. On top of that, she changed the sheets twice and left us brownies a couple of more times. You feel like you're in a hotel! If I could rate this apartment 20/10, I'd do so. If possible, I will be coming back to Livikon in the following years. Apartment, Eleni, and her hospitality are unmatched!

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the...

It's a quiet village with very friendly people and along the beach road you very quickly arrive at the next village that has a mini market and 3 or 4 tavernas. It's not for people looking for nightlife and shops. A car is needed to get there and to be able to go to bigger town with shops and other sights of interest. Our favourite places in Rodakino were Korakas beach cafe; Super market Zafeirakis where the lady was friendly and helpful and Nikos & Anna Taverna. Just a little further away the taverna at Peristeres beach is definitely my favourite place to eat.

About half a dozen good places to eat, lovely sandy beach even better if more comfortable sunbeds, nice peaceful location in the countryside. Plenty of tradition Greek food available, probably enough places to eat for a week if you don’t have a car but ideally a car allows you to try different beaches and explore area.

Brilliant location, quiet but only a short distance from the beach, local amenities etc. The people running the hotel were ever so sweet and accommodating, always greeted us with a genuine smile and positive attitude. The room was clean, homey and had everything you might need for a short stay. We spent our time in the area hiking all day so we looked forward to coming back to our lovely little room at the end of the day.

The location, the welcome, and the courtesy of the staff. The availability of sun loungers and umbrellas. The rooms were cleaned and the linens changed after three days. The Wi-Fi worked. The beach is really close to the house and the sea is beautiful. We saw the dolphins from the beach. The are also turtle nests on it. Old Crete, good Crete!

Hosts are extremely polite, we got welcome drinks and fruits. The view from balcony is priceless. Every night we would fall asleep by listening the sound of waves and watching the stars. Nice sandy beach Polyrizos is just 2 minutes away from the apartment. Quiet place perfect for relaxation.

remote location, small private beach, nice view. you can admire sunset, sunrise and Milky Way from the balcony or small garden. quiet and relaxing stay. locals call this location "aparmenst on the rocks".
