Fabulous hotel The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived Lovely food with an amazing breakfast. Everything you could possibly think of was on the menu Comfortable beds power showers etc The cocktail bar and food by the main pool was great It’s a shame it didn’t open in the evening Pool and Spa were really clean and had very comfy beds so much so that we really didn’t want to go anywhere I’m definitely going back

The room was nice, good size had Netflix and YouTube on the tv all be it you have to have a log in but that was grwat. The bean bag beds for the non pool room on level 3 which we had was super comfortable. The staff especially nico queenie Daniella and Adonis were great! The breakfast was superb. The overall look of hotel was brilliant.

Everything. The restaurant staff are so nice and welcoming. There is a shop and car rental right outside of the hotel which is really convenient. The food, room, pool- absolutely everything is fantastic.

I traveled to Crete for the first time with my mom. We both enjoyed staying at Maritimo. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English. They offer you a to go box for your breakfast or dinner in case if you have an excursion and can't be there to eat. The room was spacious and clean. The cleaning staff cleaned it every day. They offer breakfast and dinner and we had both and each day we were happy with the food options. The drinks at dinner were not free, but since they only had bottled water it made sense. They also had some sort of entertainment almost every night. The pool had enough seats around it. The access to the beach is public and the hotel is like 2 min from the shore. We enjoyed swimming there in crystal clear water. The beach is not too perfect for laying around as there are rocks around but we swimmed and would go back to tan at the pool. That didn't surprise us though as the pictures on the website clearly depict it. The hotel is close to the central road in Sissi. We loved our stay at Maritimo

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Domingo!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Villa Domingo! The house was spotless, very spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The children loved the pool, while the adults enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The location is great, with beaches, restaurants, and attractions just a short drive and walk away. A special thank you to Michalis, who was an amazing host. He was very friendly, welcoming, and always available to help. His recommendations and attention to detail made our stay even better. We highly recommend Villa Domingo to anyone visiting Crete, especially families. It was a wonderful experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back

Tuesday nights at Taverna Amelia should not be missed!

Tuesday nights at Taverna Amelia should not be missed! Live music and some traditional Greek dancing and activities. Reservations required if you don't want to miss out! Nice walking along the shoreline from Sisi to Malia if you like a hiking path. Ruins of the Malia Palace are a must see.

Sissi is a charming little village where the sea and the mountains blend together beautifully. It offers all the amenities you might need for a relaxing holiday, including travel agencies, vehicle rental services, supermarkets, and local shops. It is a picturesque place, although its architecture lacks a uniform style. There are many houses and buildings that are still under construction, abandoned, or in need of renovation, standing alongside modern and luxurious properties. It creates a rather eclectic atmosphere that reminded me of parts of Eastern Europe—not as criticism, but simply as an honest observation. We especially enjoyed Anatoli Tavern, where we had delicious, freshly prepared food. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making every meal a pleasure. We also visited Cretaquarium, which we highly recommend, especially for families with children. It was a wonderful and very educational experience.

Have visited sissi for 20 years ! 2 , 3 , times a year. Sissi is a perfect village with plenty of restaurants, bars , noisy , quite, whatever you want is there. Very picturesque, beautiful village, once you visit once you will always go back .

My Sea-Front room overlooking the Aegean Sea and the pool was amazing! Very clean and roomy! Anthi, the owner and manager, and her staff were so very friendly and welcoming! The location of this property is perfectly situated in the picturesque town of Sisi, close to everything. I can’t say enough good things about this special place.

Sissi has a lovely harbour location surrounded by a selection of tavernas - Amelia Taverna was excellent for quality and value for money - staff were lovely. The bakery was also excellent. There are several beaches nearby but signposting is poor.
