The room is spacious and clean with a beautiful sea view. The bed is comfortable. The location is close to the center and easy walk to sea front tavernas. The staff provided useful local scenery and restaurant information. The dog, Mr. JUNGLE, WAS VERY HELPFUL. THANK YOU Mr Jungle. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Siteia again. Sutija is a beautiful seaside town with a lot of restaurants along the coast. The food is delicious, the locals are friendly and hospitable. The city beach is extremely clean, as is the sea, so it is not necessary to travel to other beaches, but you should definitely visit at least some because they are all beautiful. Sitia is an attractive, clean, clearly well-cared for and 'laid-back'/unhurried small holiday location on the sea with an excellent choice of very good tavernas (mostly on the harbour-side) and some very up-to-date and non-touristy shops in the main (traffic-free) central area. It is said that the town grows on you the longer you stay and entices you to stay longer than you expected to, which we thoroughly agree with! Well worth making the trip to in eastern Crete, and a very useful eastern-Crete centre for sightseeing.

This area is much less touched compared to the West side of...

This area is much less touched compared to the West side of Crete. The area is vast and has much exploration to offer. One can see the area was previously thought to expect many more tourists at one time and many of these businesses (and in one case, a small village) has failed and you can see the derelict buildings remaining.

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

A lovely beachside town full of real Greek people, culture, restaurants etc. Perfect sea for swimming. No overrun with tourists. Sitia Beach Resort and Sitia Bay Hotel Apartments both wonderful places to stay.

The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's...

The only problem i face every time i visit is that there's no direct flight from Cyprus to Sitia, which makes the trip quite difficult. I have to make two stops, and the bus connection is challenging, with a winding road and a tiring journey of 3 to 3 1/2 hours, witch i will really consider to go again just for that. Because i leave my house early in the morning and i arrive very late at night time to Sitia. AND THAT IS VERY TIRING!

The owners are very kind and helpful. Hotel is in great location, very near Sitia waterfront, restaurants and shops. Very nice cafe / restaurant located within the hotel, good choice of breakfasts. Huge swimming pool, with ample sun beds car parking easy. Large apartment with well equipped kitchen, balcony over looking the bay.
