The people are just so kind and sweet! The Hotel style is maybe a bit outdated, but it's just so clean and taken care of to the tiniest detail. You really can tell that the owner and the employees love working here! While we stayed there for a week we never saw one frown, it adds up to the whole vibe. Everyone is friendly, laid back and happy. I definitely come back to Vassiliki and will stay again at Porto Fico Hotel!

Vasiliki harbor is calm in the morning and windy in the afternoon. This is what makes it ideal for both beginners and advanced wind surfers and sailors. The large horse shoe shaped bay has good tavernas and restaurants on both ends of the beach promenade. Within 20 to 30 minutes of Vasiliki there are more beautiful parts of Lefkada well worth visiting: Sivote harbor to the East, and Porto Katsiki to the West.

The town is beautiful set around a harbour full of restaurants and a few bars. The beach is all within walking distance of the town and the regular boat trips give an opportunity to see the other bays and islands

Have travelled here twice in the past year and can't wait to come back. It's absolutely gorgeous. There are so many beaches to visit and it's easy to get around. Everyone we met were very nice and helpful to reccomend locations/restaurants. I literally can't wait to go back. It's one of the few places in the world I have been to that brought me true peace and tranquility.

Such a stunning Greek village, good access to local beaches, they are all stoney not sandy so you need beach shoes. Easy to get the little ferry to Agiofili which is a lovely beach. Nice to rent a car to see some more of the island. Lots of windsurfing, sailing, wing foiling opportunities if you're into that. Can hire bikes too. Super friendly and unpretentious, recommend it!

Next to the beach, there is a wide pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants. The harbor area is very beautiful. The atmosphere is pleasant, although in the evening it can get quite crowded. There are many shops with a wide variety of products, so you can find almost everything you need. The beach is pebbly, so it’s not possible to walk barefoot, but once you get into the water the seabed is covered with fine sand. Prices are reasonable — for example, two sunbeds with an umbrella cost €10.

Vasiliki is a relatively cheap resort on the island of Lefkada. There are all the facilities - restaurants, car hire, etc. It has a long organised beach excellent for windsurfers. It is close to the three excellent snorkelling beaches Ammoussa, Afteli, and Agiofili, reachable by car. Against that, it is at the very south of the island and therefore a long way from other destinations. It takes about 40 mins by car to get to the capital city which is also called Lefkada. Some people may be put off by the windiness of the beach. Other beaches nearby are more sheltered.

The hotel was in a perfect location, near the main strip of shops, restaurants and cafes in Vasiliki, and 5 minute walk to the beach! Breakfast was really good every morning, did not disappoint! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had noodles and bread in the kitchen for free. And the location is just perfect. It’s very close to the village and to all the other beaches of lefkada only abt 25 minutes.
