Keramos is Family hotel in village Zaros. We stayed one night. In the morning we were on the road early to follow our schedule, so we didn't have time for breakfast. I'm sorry about that because I can imagine it would be another pleasure from a family kitchen. Nearby there is a hotels car park space. The pictures on the site speak for themselves and it's real! The real pleasure was a relaxing evening in the small pool located on the roof of the building. All recommendations!

Friendly owner, beatiful furniture and design, the perfect way to learn about the traditional life on Crete! They also had goats, sheeps and pigs, with morning bread-making and milking expirience. Also had the ability to order breakfast at only10€ per person and you get a whole container of food, including fresh baked bread and pastries! it was such a tranquil place we waked into town and they accomodated our dietary restrictions at a nice restaurant named vegarra. There was aa nice fresh fruit store we loved. We found a place to do ATV in town it was really an exceptional cottage. Quant but clean and up to date. I hope to come back.

The village is peaceful, full of charm, and perfectly located for exploring Crete. It has everything you need within walking distance — a grocery store, bakery, crepe shop, and several places to eat. The people here are incredibly welcoming, and we experienced true Greek hospitality and kindness. It’s a place with character, where you can relax and enjoy local life, yet still be within easy driving distance of all the island’s main attractions.

I loved the serenity. It was a perfect escape from the City.

I loved the serenity. It was a perfect escape from the City. A night without the usual mod cons is quite OK. The trout from the local restaurants was perfect for dinner. I would suggest avoiding the heat of Summer.

Very peaceful location. Authentic unspoilt village. It was like stepping back in time. No touristy stuff at all..not even a souvenir shop as far as I could see.Surroundings are incredible. I was a solo traveller and felt very much at home there.. It'd a big draw for walkers..I just wanted to chill and enjoy the views .

Zaros is a village in the mountains ,it has the famouse lake of Zaros and the spring and the famous water of Zaros. It has traditional food and helpful lokal people. You can visit in the summer as well in the winter.

This came a bit randomly in our trip and we’re glad it did. We loved Zaros for both the warmth of its people and the beauty of its decor. Our hike in Rouvas was great and every encounter was like it was family members. One of the highlights of our trip to Creta. If you like getting closer to people and their culture it’s a must on your list. If you’re into more attractions or shopping this one is not for you.

Great appartment for the price, lot of space and also something peculiar. There is a designated parking lot in front of the house :-) Location is great; Zaros has some shops that cover all needed.
