Good location. Great AC. Staff responsive via whatsapp. The party is on Tequila Tuesday between 10pm - 2am and it was a great time. Would stay again.

I arrived late and in a panic when I realized I left my iPhone in the mototaxi. The staff were able to make phone calls and recover my iPhone. They were really friendly and helpful! Also, I had to leave early at 6:30 am for the ferry and they arranged an early breakfast for me -ready at 6:15. Very accommodating!

The place is a magical Garden with a magical Gardener. That would be Chez Milady. She is more a gardener of people & intuitive to your needs. She is a local artist of great repute on the island. If u want privacy, u get privacy & tranquility. If u want a more social interaction, u may have that incl an Island tour & event advice. The tropical setting is simply stunning. I saw fireflies, an iguana, & a resident hummingbird with gorgeous exotic flowers. I would go back in a flash & stay longer. I walked often to the town center comfortably in about 10 min, but a tuk tuk easily avail is only $2. Restaurants deliver. Two beaches are walking distance or a $3 ride & Pumpkin Hill Beach is around the corner and a tuk tuk away. Bando Beach is my favorite beach. My room was spacious, the bathroom large, the bed large. . There are several sitting areas incl patio. I was in the smaller studio. I saw the other apartments; they are amazing and very big. Her two dogs I wanted to take home with me. Just go and change your life for the better......

It’s an eclectic small island with a focus on dive tourism.

It’s an eclectic small island with a focus on dive tourism. Relax and get used to the crazy traffic! By that I mean the three wheel taxis, golf carts, ATV’s, beach bikes, delivery drivers and pedestrians who all share the main street. After a couple days you’ll join the traffic dance and stop fearing for your life! Plenty of good local restaurants and bars with nice staff. Loved The Pointe!

Utila was perfect. The people were so friendly and sweet.

Utila was perfect. The people were so friendly and sweet. We felt really safe everywhere we went. The traffic with people walking everywhere was a little stressful, but everyone looked out for each other. The reef and snorkeling were exceptional. God is the master creator of all of the beauty to behold in Utila.

Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days.

Utila is a great a chill location to spend few days. However it is worth more than 2 days only if you are planning to dive for several days as otherwise it could get boring, as there are not many beaches or options. Pristine water, great coral (although not many fish and some of the coral is dead). It is worth a visit!

I went to Neptune beach one day but did not like it too much...

I went to Neptune beach one day but did not like it too much as the snorkeling was not so good. This private beach, accessible from a private launch boat, became very crowded as the day wore on. However, it did have a surprisingly good restaurant. (Tuna tower)… There are three very good restaurants here: Mamuth, Mango Tango, and the newly opened Captain Willits. The shore snorkeling was quite good at Coral View and they had a nice bar at end of pier. You can rent a bicycle at a hardware store just up the street from the main ATM near the ferry dock.

Milady was a fantastic host. She told us all about the island, had lots of great tips and made us feel comfortable. Milady created an environment which made us feel like we could ask her for help, no matter what problem we might have and she would not judge us. The bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, free drinking water, hot shower, aircon, fan, lovely garden. The location is a short, easy walk away from the main street on the island. A tuktuk ride is 30-40L to the property.

Staying at Vive Utila B&B of Chris and Ana was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome with their warmth and deep knowledge of Utila. They truly go above and beyond to make the experience. The breakfast was amazing! It was the perfect way to start each day.

Super cool people! Loved the owners, the place was clean, spacious and comfy! Wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island. We could rent a scooter from them also, that made it easy to get around.
