Everything! Its the Rolls-Royce of the hostels! Clean cool rooms, comfy mattresses, good pillows, Aircon, absolutely spotless bathrooms, swim pool, a bar and a restaurant... This place is made to make you stay and don't go out! I've been to over 250 hostels in my adventures and this one is in my top 5.

The hotel is a gem at Labuan Bajo. Clean, friendly and efficient staff, great breakfast, impressive pools and relaxing atmosphere.

Our stay at Elang Hillside Bamboo Villas was totally unique. The villa itself was so special, the views from Villa and pool were spectacular and the staff were the best we have ever met. So helpful and accomodating.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in Indonesia. A fantastic, new, boutique hotel, right in the centre of LBJ. Extremely clean, good size rooms, brilliant, friendly staff, management "on the ball", beautiful wet-edge pool and sunloungers overlooking the harbour, sunrises and sunsets all visible from pooldeck. The breakfast is delicious, and abundant - we normally didn't need to eat lunch! They can arrange transport to/from airport for IDR100K. I have stayed here multiple times now and can't fault the place. Highly recommended. Do it!! Cheers David FEB2026.

Friendly staff, clean room with nice view and decent breakfast

Very peaceful, great scenery and friendly, helpful staff.

The fact that we could hang dry our scuba gear on the balcony ( room 304) with double bed. The A/C work very well, the hot shower with plenty of pressure. It was an overall experience lovely. if you are doing a scuba day trip, this location is perfect, it was an only 10min walk to our tour operator UBER SCUBA KOMODO and there is a supermarket across the street from the hotel. The hotel had a kettle with free water, coffee, tea & creamer The bed mattress was VERY confortable and the linen clean and new. The towels were old but very absorbant. Will come back to this hotel on our next trip

By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! My door wouldn't shut from the outside unless I scanned my keycard a second time to trigger the lock. The TV in my room was smashed. I don't think that the AC worked, there may have been what I think was blood on the wall, the toilet didn't have a top lid, the room looked like it was still under construction, and for some odd reason there were children hanging around in the common areas; girls from 7-14 years old at the front desk, and boys 14 to 20 upstairs where the rooms are. I checked in for 8 days and only stayed 2. And the staff gave me issues about the payment that I made, and the refund of 6 days. As if basic math was out the door! I thought I lost my credit card there (I didn't) but after messaging the property to ask I only got a request for a review as a response.

The property was very clean and the people were great! Rooftop bar is a beautiful place to watch the sunset and grab a drink. Steps from the harbor if you are heading out for a tour and only seven minutes from the airport. They will hang on to your luggage if you need and are flexible with check in and check out times.

The host was very friendly. The location was just in front of the beautiful ocean. The room was comfortable,nice and clean. The shower has good pressure.
