The owner was very pleasant and most of all this place had large washing machine and the dryer as well. It was great to wash all my cloth there.

The location was amazing with such beautiful places to visit and whilst not in the main area of Gyeongju, had we not stayed here we would have missed so many opportunities to see the beautiful surrounds. The Breakfast whilst a simple one is exactly what we needed to start the day. The facility was amazing, very modern and well presented, the staff were really pleasant, and welcoming. The rooms were large and very clean, with comfortable bedding. I would not hesitate to book again when planning visit to Gyeongju

Very kind in reception. Upgraded our room free. Very good location. Surrounded by cherry blossom trees. Very close to Bulguksa temple - easy access on foot. It was very comfortable stay.

I was really looking forward to my stay at Ije Gyeongju, especially after good experiences at other Ije locations, but unfortunately, this one fell short. For the price, the quality was underwhelming. The food was repetitive and uninspired, and the cleaning service was subpar—our room was left messy even after service. The swimming pool is oddly placed right at the entrance next to the road, which didn’t feel relaxing or private. The building and room itself felt outdated, with malfunctioning drawers and broken corners on the walls—these issues really need attention. Overall, the experience lacked the sense of luxury and quality that should come at this price point. The location is great, and the staff were kind and helpful, but sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the overall lack of value. I stayed for two nights and wouldn’t recommend this property unless improvements are made.

I really appreciate the planners and owners for making it possible for guests with large dogs to enjoy a comfortable stay here. The pet park, the suite, and the cafeteria were all great.

We liked everything about this place. We loved our stay and our kids loved it too. The place was clean, the kids had many things to occupy them with. The service was better than the hotel. the breakfast was basic but it was fine for us (we are not big brekkie people). There was toast, fruit, eggs and ramyeon. The owner is so nice and he bent over backwards for us. he recommended itinerary, places to try and even arranged a vehicle to take us to Busan. I give this place 10 out of 10 and will stay again. if we go to Gyeongju next.

Location, the room is well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The on site Korean restaurant is good. Overall our stay was amazing.

Nice view of the lake, live music in lobby (7-10 pm), nice long for relaxation. Very helpful staff nice variety of menu on restaurant and reasonable prices. Comfortable room size. Desk, fridge and electric kettle. Nice 🚽

Staying at Hwangnamguan Hanok Village was a truly unique experience. The traditional hanok style is beautiful and creates a very calm and authentic atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared, and sleeping in a traditional Korean setup made the stay even more special. The location is perfect, close to Gyeongju’s main attractions and charming streets. The staff were kind and welcoming throughout. Overall, a perfect place to experience traditional Korean culture. Highly recommended!
