Manor House is a real treasure in Kandy, Sri Lanka. A perfect blend of British, Dutch and Sri Lanky architecture. This historical house, built in 1884, was once owned by ministers family — and now by the wonderful Chitra and Kumar. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a palace — yet everything was made with such warmth and soul that we immediately felt at home. The service was outstanding, with incredible attention to detail from the staff. We were honored to stay in the oldest authentic room and enjoy a fantastic traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with the owners in their beautiful garden full of trees and flowers.
