location was excellent. Loved the mountain view from the pool area. Love the food and prices were reasonable. this could be the best villa in that area. Staff was very helpful and attending quickly to all our needs.

My family had the best time in Forest Nest with Saman and his wife and child. His wife cooked the best meals for us; Saman leads two tours in the SINHARAJA forest . One is a night walk that is 3-4 hours long ! The other is a day tour that is 5-6 hours long . He helped my son tremendously and didn’t charge my son at all. His family is genuinely helpful and kind. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always there when we need them . Saman is also a bird guide who took my husband on two walks to spot birds. The cabin is well-appointed and has the best view in the area ! The shower is hot and there is a fan . We stayed two nights and this is certainly NOT enough .

The hospitality and friendliness is better than I have ever experienced. Location next to the rainforest. Breakfast. Environment.

Great location for nature lovers. Nice view over the valley below and the mountain above, especially on sunrise. Very friendly staff that helped us a lot. One of them is a guide and took us to the sliding rock, a natural waterslide that the kids loved. Then he took my son and husband on an exciting night excursion. The day after we went to the rainforest for the whole day and he found a lot of interesting animals for us to see. The food was great and plentiful, the whole family was happy. The hotel is just next to a bus stop.

Everything was fabulous the breakfast was super delicious and the view of the room was stunning.

Environment is really good and beautiful. I like most is environment.

Location - This is a beautiful resort located beside a pristine river flowing from the Singharaja jungle. On the other side, there are beautiful tea estates. The flora and fauna of the Singharaj jungle were a delight and very refreshing. We witnessed unspoiled virgin nature at its full glory Hospitality- This resort provides a very comfortable stay which enhances the experience. You will get to experience the best of mother nature and hospitality together. Affordability- This is a great hangout place for people looking to experience one of the best sites in Sri Lanka at an affordable price. We are surely coming back for this. Special Thanks - To Muditha. He showered us with great hospitality and ensured that we had a comfortable stay. He is genuinely committed to his guests' comforts and always available. The attention and care of the hosting family who cared for every need, and made any effort to make the stay comfortable, with a lot of kindness. Amazing breakfast was included. Great home cooked dinners by request, reasonably priced. Arranged knowledgeable, amazing guide for the rainforest hike, reasonably priced. This guesthouse is located nearby to the forest edge. That made amazing birds and wildlife be seen just from the nice garden porch or when walking the village road. However, don't expect any 'tourist scene' nearby. That village was so peaceful. Had great night sleep on the comfortable bed, protected effectively by net from bugs.

We stayed at the Glitz Marriott for one night. Our wonderful host and guide, Ananda, gave us such a memorable experience in the short time we spent there. We arrived around noon and Ananda, as our guide, gave us the most amazing 4hr tour of the rainforest which was amazing!!! After that, he prepared the most delicious dinner with many dishes. Our room was spacious and very clean. When visiting Sinharaja Rain Forest, stay at the Glitz Marriott. Ananda, thank you so much for the memories!! Lonnie

What a unique experience. I stayed in the Family Room with Garden View and I felt completely immersed in the rainforest there. It was raining when I was there and it felt really cozy. The host, Ravindra, was kind, welcoming and very helpful. He organized for an amazing female guide for me in Sinharaja, as well as transport there and to my next destination. His mother cooked delicious dinners and breakfasts, and even a packed lunch for my day trip. The pool was a great bonus - I had a much-needed fresh dip following my hike.
