Great location, great staff excellent food and value !

New property with well designed rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant, easy walk down to the expansive sandy beach and Dikwella bay.

I was initially hesitant to book this hotel after seeing its only review rated 6/10. However, I quickly realized that rating was far too harsh. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The hotel itself is of a high standard, with fantastic facilities. The pool and sunbeds were excellent, providing a relaxing environment. Breakfast was outstanding, offering a great selection of both Sri Lankan and Western options. We loved our stay.

Great place to stay in Hiriketya, would highly recommend! Fathers place has a great location. It's a short walk (max 10 minutes) to Hiriketya beach, all the restaurants, bars and shops. It's an even shorter walk to the start of Dickwella beach on the other side. And it's quiet so great for sleeping! The place recently opened, so everything looks good and is clean. Comfortable room with airconditioning, hot shower, small fridge, everything you need. They also have a small pool and offer breakfast. The manager Thinu was very nice and helped us with anything we needed like tuktuks and laundry. We booked for 3 nights and extended another 3 nights. Look no further!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Even though I booked a single room, both the room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious. The room also came with a large private balcony, plus there was a huge shared balcony area to relax in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was extremely convenient for my needs, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I would happily stay here again.

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful our experience at this place was! Our room was spacious, very clean, newly furnished, AC working perfectly, large and comfy bed and pillows, wifi working, no mosquitos or anything, and we had a private balcony overlooking the jungle with lots of birds/monkeys/turtles to view from distance. It is magical! The family that runs this place is extremely hospitable and polite. They were always surprising us with fruits, fresh juices, tea, homemade sweets etc. They even drove us to Hiriketiya beach and to a nearby temple (which I highly recommend you visit!). The hosts were ALWAYS available whenever we needed anything! The location is 5-6 minutes walk from Dikwella beach - a huuuuge spacious sandy beach with chill vibes (waaay better than Hiriketiya!). There are shops nearby, cafes, pharmacies… Hiriketiya is 5 mins tuktuk drive from here (around 2€). If you’re visiting this area, this accommodation is your best option, TRUST US, we’ve been to quite a few. :) 🇷🇸Ako ste iz Srbije, pozdravite ih od Tine i Nichima.❤️ :)

The wifi was the best we came across in the area. The room was also super spacious. Nice views from the back balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Villa Dickwella. The property offers hotel‑like facilities but with the warmth and comfort of a home stay vibe. The mornings were a delight, with a delicious breakfast and very good coffee to start the day. Amila, the host, is super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with tips and recommendations. And Ayu, his wonderful dog, contributed to making the stay even more homie and cozy. The villa itself is in a quiet location away from traffic noise, perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a short walk to the beach and a quick tuk tuk ride to all the main attractions. Overall, it’s a peaceful and authentic place to stay, combining comfort, great hospitality, and easy access to all the highlights. One of our best stays in Sri Lanka! Highly recommend it, already missing it!

We had the best stay at Moon Light Beach Resort! The beach is unreal with swimmable waters and only a handful of people as far as you can see. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We are so sad we only had two days. The hosts are great and super helpful. Their Sri Lankan breakfast was our favourite of the trip. The property is beautiful with only 6 rooms. The rooms are modern, large and clean. They are also only steps from the beach with every room having a view. Close great restaurants. So glad we stayed here verse the hiriketiya area which was super busy with tourists. We hope to be back one day! Thank you thank you!
