I recently stayed at Hiru Beach Resort and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The resort is stunning, and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and truly professional throughout our stay. The food was delicious, with great variety and quality. The rooms were especially wonderful – clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

A very charming place to stay. You enter the beach through the pine trees. The gentleman and lady who own the place are very friendly. They chatted with us well and looked after our needs. The staff are also very helpful. The food is very tasty.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional especially the gentleman who served us food and provided room service. The place is very tranquil since the property only accommodates very less number of guests compared to the space at the property. Was able to get the same amount of peace and quite as youd get at a Maldivian resort at a very minimal cost.

This is my experience in Kalpitiya. We visited many hotels in Kalpitiya. But none of them impressed us. But Capital Wind Hotel suited us well. We were surprised by the large swimming pool here. I never expected to find a swimming pool like this in Kalpitiya. You can get service from educated, clean, and quality staff here. I can recommend this hotel for your trip.

Chilled atmosphere, extraordinary yummy food and support/advise wherever needed far more than typical sri lankan hotel service. Lovely owner Came back for 1 week after first stay. Diving, delfin and whale watching 1 min away as well as kitesurfing and many other opportunities

A wonderful boutique hotel, peacefully secluded in breathtaking nature. Everything is impeccably maintained, and the staff are professional, efficient, and incredibly welcoming. A truly special place – highly recommended.

The village is in very local place with lots of nature around. Then you cycle to centre where more people are staying so it’s big kitesurfing community with lots of instructors

Our stay was absolutely incredible. The location is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and helpful with everything. We did yoga in the morning on the dock which was so beautiful. We went kayaking with their free kayaks, we hung out by the pool, they gave us a free ride across the lagoon to the bigger beach, and we ate tons of incredible food!! Everything was better than we could have imagined- it was a great weekend.

Splendid small hotel with friendly helpful staff, excellent location and superb seafood and other tasty things to eat. My 4-day stay turned into an 8 day holiday because of the scuba diving nearby and the wonderful experience at this place. I will be back.

It was absolutely peaceful. Which is exactly what I was looking for. The very best best thing is the staff. They absolutely spoiled me with the most delicious Sri Lankan food I have ever had. They really wanted to take care of me like I was their favorite child. The pool is gorgeous, and again so serene. I loved the fact that their two dogs were very well cared for and completely healthy. Honestly, this is not a common thing.
