The places was clean and comfortable. Equipped with a hot shower. It also had a nice view from which you can enjoy sunsets or sunrises. The host are a young couple who are very kind, considerate and helpful. You can trust you are in good hands. They also have a restaurant in the property and you can have good meals. Breakfast is preorder!

Kothmale Homestay is a place that delights with its unique atmosphere. The room is exceptionally comfortable and charming, making your stay here a real pleasure. The bathroom, though small, is very well designed, clean, and functional. A big advantage is the small kitchenette where you can prepare tea, and serving it in the lovely crockery is a delightful touch. Another plus is its location by the road, making it a great base for further exploration. The owners are exceptionally hospitable and always ready to help with anything you might need, adding a personal and warm touch to the stay.

Really pretty view and located in Watagoda at end of stage 5 of Pekoe trail. Super kind owner who even though was out of town was very communicative to make sure I had what I needed. Delicious dinner as well.

The Weir House leaves you longing for more, more time to embrace the beauty of nature, more quiet moments with giant trees and the sound of the river nearby. Tastefully decorated, Weir House doesn't force its aesthetic on you, it gently allows you to surrender to comfortable spaces that allow you to enjoy the beauty around you. The food and service was fabulous, thoughtful and generous. Enjoying a good cup of tea, and hot hot cutlets on their beautiful terrace is one of my favorite memories of being at Weir House. It is the perfect location to get away from the city and lose yourself in the beauty of nature and the kindness of Sri Lankan hospitality.
