Great location for nature lovers. Nice view over the valley below and the mountain above, especially on sunrise. Very friendly staff that helped us a lot. One of them is a guide and took us to the sliding rock, a natural waterslide that the kids loved. Then he took my son and husband on an exciting night excursion. The day after we went to the rainforest for the whole day and he found a lot of interesting animals for us to see. The food was great and plentiful, the whole family was happy. The hotel is just next to a bus stop.

The owner is a guide of Sinharaja forest. I join a tour with him and he is so professional and knowledgeable! The tour was amazing. We walked in the forest and heard birds singing. Also captured lots of photos of endemic species, showered under waterfall, enjoyed fish therapy and bathed in pool. And then after tour, he prepared delicious dinner for us. Highly recommend everyone who wanna visit Sinharaja forest stay here.

Excellent birding. Great place if you are a birder. Rooms were comfortable particularly as this is so far out. If you bird would 100% recommend a birding trip with Jaganth.

Best place I had in Sri Lanka. wonderful rooms. i highly recommend this place for the rooms. we had a safari with owner. we saw leopard we do share safari with owner. he had good price for the safari. owner saw us all the animals.

Amazing place!! Everything about this place is perfect: the hotel staff is super helpful (bringing you to dinner because it’s already dark for example with a tuktuk), cooking very well and making sure you have everything you need (even helping doing our laundry!). The place wow it’s stunning, a great swimming pool clean and huge, the bedrooms are also huge with two beds (a double and a single) with high end sheets/mattresses, you have AC a big plus, a huge bathroom and even a kitchen integrated! It’s calm but very close to everything you need, you hear the birds chirping around you while swimming after a great safari they can help organize. The owner speaks English and Spanish fluently, this is a huge plus! There is a little boy my son has been so happy to play with as well, very sweet - an authentic experience for us!
